此游戏拥有优秀的视觉效果，不过推动气氛的主要是前Nine Inch Nails成员Chris Vrenna创作的音轨。
游戏的音乐混合了玩具钢琴、铃、以及一个女声唱诗班的声音。它有效地打断了——通常是提醒玩家——游戏的恐怖气氛。
配音效果大体上也不错，特别是游戏中那只瘦弱的露齿猫，它的讲话方式同Silence of the Lambs（沉默的羔羊）中Anthony Hopkins扮演的Hannibal Lecter一样。
