介绍:
四个战争孤儿，因为教授去世所留下的巨额债务，要在五年的期限内被迫迁离研究所，他们需要制作各种各样的发明品，用来偿还债务。
? 游戏每天进行一次。移动地图上的四个角色，与地图上的居民产生故事，与人交谈，接收请求，购物和采集材料，并在研究所制作发明品。
? 《玛丽工作室》的主题是“炼金术”，而本游戏的主题是“科学”，材料和发明之间的对应关系非常现实。
? 例如，加工废铁制造齿轮和螺丝，把自行车架，链条驱动装置，2个轮胎，皮革组合制造出自行车。
? 技术创新的速度比现实世界快得多，游戏初期是蒸汽机技术，后期汽油发动机和电气制品等司空见惯。
游戏角色非常有魅力，主人公是4个孤儿，游戏世界观比较厚重。
制作任务既包括儿童们的心愿，也有国家大型项目任务。随着发明品不断增加，人们的生活方式也变得多姿多彩。
最初的地图只能移动到研究所附近，但每当一个新的地方出现时就会被发现，因为随着故事的进行，道路会不断出现。此外，通过发明车辆系统，可以在地图上移动的距离和可携带的货物得到改善。
发明品数量约600种，4个主人公都有各自的结局。

本游戏和GUST的《工作室》系列出自同一年代，第二年又在PS上出过类似的荒岛发明游戏《漂流记（无人岛物语4）》，之后就再无续作，发行商KSS渐渐消失，这种发明类型的游戏再也难得一见，这次汉化也是对这种古董类型游戏的纪念。

终于搞完了，真累……20年前的游戏、15万字的日文、6千行代码、6个月的汉化时间，虽然算不上大工程，但还得歇一阵子才能恢复。
感谢翻译小雪，在没玩过游戏的前提下强撑着翻译完毕，译完后她的感言就是“再也不搞汉化了……”，看来这唯一的一次汉化经历就给她带来了阴影，让我们用热烈的掌声送别她离开汉化界。
运行方式：

ps3：把打好补丁的光盘镜像放在dev_hdd0/PSXISO目录下
psp: 使用pops converter转换（刚把psp祭出来准备测试，结果屏幕报销了，未测试，应该没啥问题）
