Hello everyone. Domo here.

Ok, listen up beta testers! This is what you need to do
to load the beta client. This is for logging in purposes.
The game itself does not work yet!! That comes later.

Step 1: Download file Evil-BC2-Beta-2.0-Public-Release.zip. This is the link:

Step 2: Unzip files and put the all of the file into your BFBC2
file.

Step 3: Now you will need to edit your hosts file.

Go to C:/Windowssystem32driversetchosts

Open hosts file with notepad.

Once you are in the file, go to the very end of the paragraph.
Press enter twice. Type in or paste the following. Do not
include the minus symbols.

Step 4: Launch the Bad Company 2 using the new .exe file. Make a shortcut on
desktop. This is much easier to remember.

Step 5: Login in by using any username. This will automatically log into
my account which is what we use for the beta.


You will be able to see rank and the server list.

(YOU CAN NOT JOIN A GAME AT THIS TIME!!!)

Step 6: To play Bad Company 2 normally again, you need to remove the
IP addresses that you added to your hosts file.


Please let Domo or Krisco know if there are any problems getting
the beta client to load. Please list the bugs that you find so we can
get them fixed.
