Corrupted Saved Game - Potential Workaround

Hi everyone, I'm updating this thread with a potential workaround:

I can confirm that this issue is with development, will be addressed in the patch, and we'd like you to try the following workaround:

After a practice session where you complete an R&D objective and unlock a new upgrade make sure you then load in to the following qualifying session before exiting the game.

And also, as our technical support FAQ now says:

We believe this only occurs if, after completing an R&D objective, you...
- Retire to the paddock via the Engineer (in the garage).
- Terminally damage your car and select retire to paddock.
- Get disqualified and select retire to paddock.

As long as you progress to the qualifying session before quitting the game this problem will not occur.

Please do let me know if it still happens when doing this workaround, that'd be very useful information!

Hi everyone.

We'd like to collect a sample of corrupt game saves. If you could let me know here if you have a game save file you can extract and give to us, that would be very appreciated. Please let me know the size of the file, and the format it's from.

How to get the file:

For PC, please see your save game folder.

For PS3 follow the steps below:
1. Insert USB Memory Stick
2. On the XMB, select 'Game' then 'Saved Data Utility'
3. Choose F1 2010 and press Triange for options.
4. Select 'Copy' and then select the USB you inserted.

For 360, please follow these steps.
1. Sign in with the live account connected with the save games.
2. Insert USB Memory Stick.
3. Go to 'My Xbox' and then 'System Settings'.
4. Select 'Memory' and choose the storage device the saves are on.
5. Choose Games, then F1 2010
6. You may then select the save file to copy.
7. Select the Memory Stick you inserted.
8. File will copy across.

How to send us the file:

We've set up a special ftp area to which you can upload your corrupted saves.
You'll need to use an FTP app such as smartftp or filezilla to access it.

The details are:
server: ukftp.codemasters.com
Username: f1.saves
Password: gamesaves

On logging in you won't be able to see the files in the folder (for security reasons the contents of the folder are not publically viewable), but you'll be able to drag-and-drop your file into it, and you should see a confirmation in the application to say that it's been successfully uploaded.

游戏存档错误的可能解决方案
大家好，我来更新一下帖子上的解决方案：
我已经确认这个问题是游戏底层造成的，我们将会在补丁中解决这个问题，而且你可以试试如下的暂时解决方案：
在练习赛中，如果你做完了一个R&D任务并且成功获得了升级零件，在退出游戏之前请至少完成练习赛并进入排位赛环节。
而且，技术支持的FAQ还提出了下列问题：
当完成了一个R&D任务后，下列情况会造成存档损坏：
-在车库中的工程师菜单下退出到游戏主菜单
-车辆全毁状态下选择退出到主菜单
-被取消比赛资格后直接退出到主菜单
只要在退出游戏之前先进入排位赛阶段就不会有问题。

下面的对解决问题没用，就不翻译了。。
至于已经坏掉的存档，个人暂时没有解决方法。可以考虑留着，也许会有修复存档的工具出来。
