Death Toll（死亡丧钟）

We are releasing the beta version of Death Toll today. We have made a few changes based on issues we saw during internal testing. It will be interesting to see what people think of those changes. No hints on what the changes are, we want you to play with fresh eyes.

The most popular question these days is when will the complete Cold Stream DLC be released? We have been saying end of summer, but that looks to be slipping quickly by. At the current rate of testing, feedback, and updating we are looking at around Halloween.

Blood Harvest（血腥收获）

When is Cold Stream coming out? It depends. We have asked the PC community to help us test the DLC before it is released. Just today they start testing on Blood Harvest. Based on their feedback we are making adjustments to the campaigns and removing any exploitable areas. We will continue testing the campaigns and then assembling them for official release later this Summer.

Dead Air（静寂时分）

Thanks to your hard work a few weeks ago, we are releasing a beta version of Dead Air for Left 4 Dead 2 today. This will be available on the Xbox 360 later this summer as part of the full Cold Stream DLC.
Besides adding melee weapons, we have made some changes to the 4th and 5th maps of the campaign. Give them a few play throughs and let us know what you think. Make sure to try some different strategies – especially in the finale.
We have also tried something new with the Scavenge map in this campaign. I won’t give away the experiment here but it should be interesting to see how people choose to play the map.

Cold Stream and the rest of the Left 4 Dead 1 maps will be out later this summer as part of the Cold Stream DLC.

cold stream(Beta)

Beta Version of Cold Stream Campaign Released
    * If you have a problem with a spawn room, vote to restart that chapter.
    * Everyone needs to be by the radio headset to start the finale map.
    * There are bugs, this is a work in progress. Please read the blog for more information

据悉：
在新DLC的4张地图中，只有一张算得上新图，剩下的3张都是复刻1代的老图，新图名为Cold Stream（极寒溪流），从名字看就知道肯定与河流有关系。这张图由“2 Evil Eyes”那张图的作者制作，该图是一张评价很高的第三方地图。

推论：
新地图是c13，上次的医院是c8，那么估计c9-c12 四张就是一代地图的补完：坠机、小镇、机场、农场，以后新地图就从c13开始了
这样一代就基本完成历史使命了
