New Lara Croft Premium Format Figure details revealed by Sideshow

Today Sideshow revealed the details of "The Lara Croft Premium Format Figure" from Adam Hughes and Tim Miller.

The Exclusive Lara Croft Premium Format Figure, which will include a Fine Art Print by Adam Hughes will be priced at $349.99, have an Edition Size of 750 pieces worldwide, and a 10%, or $35.00 non-refundable deposit charged within 24 to 48 hours once a Pre-Order is placed.

Additionally, a regular version, without the print will be available for Pre-Order and priced at $349.99 and a 10%, or $35.00 non-refundable deposit charged within 24 to 48 hours once a Pre-Order is placed..

Both versions will be sold on a first come, first served basis, and will have the FLEXPay option available as a payment choice when placing your Pre-Order

Pre-orders will start June 2nd at Sideshow.

Adam Hughes has worked on Lara Croft before, most notably when working for Top Cow making serveral covers for the Tomb Raider comics. He's also published several pinups of Lara for the official Tomb Raider and PlayStation Magazine.

The Statue is sculpted by veteran sculptor Tim Miller from a black and white concept art, featuring Lara Croft taking a break from her world traveling. Adam Hughes and Tim Miller have collaborated several times in the past few years, putting out high-demand tributes to serveral superheros like the Black Queen, She-Hulk and Mystique.

Personalized Microsoft E3 press badge hints at Tomb Raider reveal

The fooks at destructoid.com received there press badge for Microsoft's E3 press conference. Most interesting is that the accompanying stickers allow for attendees to personalize their passes, with references to Tomb Raider, Batman, Gears of War and the Star Wars Kinect game.

This could mean that TOMB RAIDER will be one of the toppics during the Microsoft press conference, as Square Enix has a big booth showing off Tomb Raider, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Hitman Absolution and more, during the E3 Expo on June 7-9, Los Angeles, USA.

The Microsoft E3 press conference kicks off on the morning of Monday, June 6.

Olivia Wilde: 'I'd love to play Lara Croft'

In an interview with MTV, actress Olivia Wilde tells 'I'd love to play Lara Croft' in the upcoming Tomb Raider movie reboot from GK Films slated for 2013 release.

The actress also revealed that she hasn't been approached by GK Films to star as the character Lara Croft.

"As far as I know right now, I'm not playing [her]. But that's really cool that people think I should." she said.

The Tron: Legacy star will be seen in theaters now as Ella in Cowboys & Aliens, which also features Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford.

Jaimie Alexander wants to be the next Lara Croft!

In an interview with Movieline, actress Jaimie Alexander would like to pursue the role of Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider movie reboot from GK Films slated for 2013 release.

No actress has been named until now, but at leaste one actress has taken it upon herself to go after the job. Jamie Alexander is know for her role as Sif in the Thor movie that is in theaters now. She also has done TV work in Kyle XY, Nurse Jackie and Watch Over Me.

"I can tell you what I抸 interested in right now," Jaimie Alexander told Movieline. "I抜e obviously been hearing about a Tomb Raider reboot, which I think would be pretty awesome ?Lara Croft. Anything that抐 very physical. I抸 reading a few scripts here and there, and we抷l see. It抐 all sort of up in the air."

"I'm not going to try and be Angelina Jolie," Alexander said when asked about how she'd play the iconic video game character. "She's her own woman, and she did a fantastic job as Lara Croft. If that opportunity arises for me, then I would put my own spin on Lara Croft. There's no way I would try and copy what she did. I think that's a huge mistake with actors and actresses who are taking on a role that was previously done by someone else."
