Duration of the "On-line" Component.The Game is capable of both offline and online player modes, both of which require that you obtain authorized access to the Service. You understand and agree that the Service is provided by Blizzard at its discretion and may be terminated or otherwise discontinued by Blizzard pursuant to the Terms of Use.

这里The Service指的是战网服务。也许暴雪原本是打算像很多在线验证drm那样，允许通过战网一次性激活后在无联网状况下玩；也许是在游戏在线寿命终期的时候发布一个离线patch；也可能会什么时候把用户协议改了。当然，你也可以这样理解，capable不是一个强制性的词语。
