@This worked for me:
Go to ".../My Games/Skyrim/", open the file "SkyrimPrefs", look for the "Launcher" block, change the value "bEnableFileSelection" to 0 (that line wasn't even on my prefs file before, I read something that adding it to the file would make mods work, so if you can't find that one line don't even bother changing the value).Next, use the Wrye Bash (mod loader) to change the load order to the same the .nfo states: 00 Skyrim.esm,01 Update.esm, (last) Dawnguard.esm. Now look for a small button on the bottom left that looks like the Skyrim symbol to load the game.Good luck(edit)This worked at first, I could start the quest and all that, but it crashes every time I try to use the forge or fast travel (the map opens allright, but it crashes while loading the destination).
@ It should not work very well, .BSA contains .DDX and XMA files, which are 360-only.This is not a leak, is a kind of mod made by a group that is converting the 360 DLC for PC.
@ this is the xbox files, they will not work on the pc or 360 since they use the low quality texture file type. there may be some launcher or mod to use the textures that i do not know of but i have not seen anyone list what manager to use who claims that thees work (other than just getting the quest.) it should crash any time an asset from dawnguard loads, even the map icon once you get the quest.
@Crashes when I open my map, Same here, except I can still take a quick look around the map before it crashes. I use the high resolution pack uploaded here.EDIT: Another weird things I have noticed is that if I don't open the map and just wander around the enemies sit there, static. The game also happens to crash no matter what I do.
