The Heavy are an indie rock band who claim to be from Noid, England, allegedly a small hamlet near Bath. However, no such place appears to exist and it's likely the name is a contraction of No Id, either a reference to not wishing to disclose their home town, or from the No ID, No Sale campaign from pubs in the Uk.
