We had a bit of good news today regarding the upcoming launch of Resident Evil 6 on PC. It seems that eager fans have just unlocked Preorder Tier 2 on Steam in just one week of sales! This means that all preorder users will now receive an art book, the soundtrack, and RE5 for the PC as bonuses. The art book and soundtrack will be redeemable when RE6 becomes available on March 22, while RE5 will be unlocked and playable right away. We wanted to take a quick moment to thank everyone who's preordered so far. Amazing turn-out, guys! Thanks so much. Meanwhile, there's still a chance to unlock Tier 3: a DLC Season Pass! If you've been on the fence about pre-ordering, this may be the incentive you've been waiting for. Have at it! We also wanted to address some of the preorder complications people in certain regions may be facing. Since preorder launch, we have successfully added preorder support for the following territories: Argentina
Israel
Saudi Arabia
Slovakia
Turkey
United Arab Emirates
However, we are now working on a solution for activating preorders in all regions not supported by Games for Windows Live. For non-GFWL countries, we will be instituting the following preorder structure, substituting DMC4 for RE5. We hope to have this structure up and in full effect by this Friday.
