IGN has published a new preview of The Sims 4 that tells a story of two Sims, Ollie and Andre and how their emotions are everything. The preview covers emotions and what’s new in build mode.

Andre isn’t too happy with Ollie. You might even say that there’s a cold war of sorts between the two.

While Andre skulks in the corner, Ollie happily chats up a girl who has shown up at his party. Ollie has been on a roll tonight, and it’s reflected in the choices he has when interacting with his lady. He’s already hit a proverbial double, and if things keep on as they have been, he may round the bases.
当安德烈蹲在墙角画圈圈的时候，奥利正在聚会中高兴的把妹纸。从奥利与淑女的互动所做出的选项中，可以反映出这货今天晚上真是HIGH到爆。可见这家伙已经好事成双，如果事情继续像他这样的发展，那他真是逆天了！

But Andre… well, there’s no delicate way to put this, but Andre is kind of a dick. He can’t handle seeing his friend have so much success with the opposite sex while he himself has no prospects whatsoever. So in true Sims fashion, he decides to intervene… with a violin.

US Gamer has written a small preview on The Sims 4 that goes over the new Create a Sim tools, building tools, emotions and multitasking, and everything Simmers can expect with The Sims 4!

One of the more impressive aspects of The Sims series is its set of tools, which enable players to create unique characters and homes for them to live in. But while the tools are comprehensive and deep, they are quite time-consuming to use.
模拟人生系列游戏最令我们印象深刻的莫过于它的工具，这些工具允许玩家去创造独一无二的人物角色和他们居住的家。然而一旦这些工具比较广泛和深入的时，他们的操作也同时变得相当费时。

However, that’s about to change.

I’ve just been playing around with the creation tools in the upcoming Sims 4, and… well… they barely feel like tools at all. Instead of using sliders and menus to bring the character I have in my head to on-screen life, I’m pulling, pushing, grabbing and shaping quickly and easily. Because next year’s Sims game has evolved the
franchise’s more traditionally-functioning tools into something that feels completely natural, intuitive, and most important of all – fun.
