ORC: Kill Everything Edition! The Mod is a mod for Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City, created by gladias9.
Description (in author’s own words):
Guns feel like cheap toys? Gamepad sensitivity too slow? Difficulty curve too artificial for you? This mod buffs weapon damage, bullet travel distance, increases gamepad sensitivity and makes sure not to give you pea shooters on harder difficulty modes for a fair challenge.
I've tried playing this game without tweaks... and I refunded it.
Most of the guns sucked unless it was a full automatic, using a gamepad sucked because turning was too slow and ramping up the difficulty meant that the enemies would become even bigger bullet sponges.
Not anymore.

Weapons
- Most if not all guns have increased range. Assault rifles... pistols... even shotguns can tag enemies over medium-long distance now. You no longer have to rely solely on rifles/smgs in firefights with humans.
- Guns as a whole also have a realistic damage output. That feeble pistol you've been carrying is now a deadly weapon capable of killing in 1-3 shots to the torso and above. That inefficient shotgun now drops foes at your feet at the press of the trigger.
Difficulty
- I never like it when games think that a challenge means to strip the player of all their power while increasing the enemy's power...
Now increasing the difficulty level focuses primarily on upping the damage dealt to you by enemies/environment/infection/friendlyfire. The damage you deal is only affected by a minor degree, you are very much a deadly machine on Hard and Pro difficulty levels.
Gamepad
- Turning sensitivity increased by a moderate amount. Not as responsive as a mouse but very serviceable.
To install:
Move folders to your Resident Evil ORC directory (where the .exe is), replace them all then delete the .ssg files located there. Back them up if necessary beforehand.
