Install UE4 11.2 from the epic store.
Extract "BendGame" to whereever you make projects for UE 11.2
Boot up UE4 then when the select a project menu pops up look for "browse" in the bottom right
Find the project and install it.
Boot that project up
If the menus don't work for you on windows 10 you need to enable high contrast mode
alt + left shift + print screen
(press again to disable it)
now head to
Characters/Deacon/head
here is where the fun happens
deacon_head_flashback
deacon_head_scrag_beard
deacon_head_standard
are the three main models you should change.
Scrag_Beard is Material ID 3 in Max

deacon_head_standard is Material ID 2 in Max
and finally Flashback is also 2 or 3 but it's a bit odd and I have not seen improvements in my tests as to why it's not working right..
I porbs did a typo or did a wrong material ID lol
anywho, In the rar I placed three fbx files for you so that you can load them up in max easily or UE4 and start importing your own model and get started
with rigging. (There is plenty of tutorials on youtube on how to rig in 3ds max like here https://youtu.be/s6-j_GpNMLw)
You'll need Deacon's actual face to do facial rigging (making your mash have face reactions and talk)
I also included the max script to import .psk files that you get when you open up Days Gone's Pak in UEViewer
there's plenty of tutorials on google about that... I hope... if not just ping me and I'll fill in the blanks
Once you have your model all rigged and ready to go export from 3ds max with all of Deacon's bones that are included in the fbx as an fbx
then drag that new file to UE4 and rename any of the head models listed above then change your new fbx with said names. That way
your model will be shown in game and not my test models.
then you open the model, drag "mi_deacon_head" into the slots on the left

now double click on "m_deacon_head" which should take you to then menu in UE4

replace those textures by clicking on them with your own.
I made mine 4k to have all of Hunk's texture in one by changing his uvs to be in one instead of parts.
then build your project.
Choose a place that you like to build at then start building your mod!
now open the folder created by UE4 and go to
bendgame/characters/deacon/parts/head
send mi_deacon_head and m_deacon_head to the trash
get out of the bendgame folder and make a new folder with whatever name you want with "_P" after it, drag bendgame into it

now grab that new folder and drag it like so....

now your mod_p.pak has been created!
place that in
Days Gone\BendGame\Content\Paks\~mods
Boot up and see how things go.
I will make a video tutorial soon so keep an eye out, heck if you're from the future you probs don't need this as the video will be there
for you as well many amazing mods to help guide you.

看上去还是不太难的,只差动手能力了,暴走丝潮、ADA王、吉尔不是梦!
