2009年2月13日JoWooD发布了《哥特王朝3：遗弃之神》新补丁：Gothic 3 - Forsaken Gods v1.08.9 English Patch
至今已经接连为这个资料片连续发布了3个补丁了，这次补丁主要是用一些新装备替换了原来哥特王朝3游戏中的一些装备，使之更新更漂亮些，也赋予了一些装备的属性功能，相信会得到玩家的喜爱。另外更新了一些文本及其游戏存在的BUG漏洞问题，使盾牌可以作战格挡并赋予作战实际效果体现等。不过这些功能更新可能需要新开始游戏才能体现出来。

Improvements:
- Gothic 3 Questitems removed
- Text problems fixed
- Voice over issues fixed
- Improved Combat / NPC Balancing
- Improved Item value balancing
- Parry skill is functional
- Shield Parry is functional
- New Items like weapons, armor, shields
Please note that the player has to start a new game in order to make the improvements work!
