Download [backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]ReShade[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)], once it's downloaded, and you double-click it, it'll pop up with a window that'll say "Reshade Stepup v6.4.1" and underneath that it will say "select a game or application:" (see image 1)
[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]2. Scroll until you find "[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]OblivionRemastered-Win64-Shipping (OblivionRemastered-Win64Shipping.Exe)[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]" on the bottom there will be an address bar with the path file, you should copy that, open file explorer and put that path in the file explorer it will take you to the files. (You will need this window open so you can paste this mod into it)

If you are on gamepass you should be able to just copy that path file provided by yavin1997 into the ReShade Setup box and put it in the address bar down below. OR you can click on the browse button and manually find it by following the path above. Or when you click browse and the file explorer box pops up you can paste the address into the
[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]address bar and you will see the OblivionRemastered-Win64-Shipping.exe there.
[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]3. Once you highlighted that select Microsoft DirectX 10/11/12 (it should default to this) click next.
[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]4. Now it'll ask you what effects you want to install, I personally always just "uncheck all" then click on "check all" because it installs all of the effects to change the reshade so if in the future you want a new one you can just plug in the reshade. (I will explain this)
[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]ReShade is done installing after this.
[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]5. Next unzip this mod, inside is just a single file called "ayleid.ini" drag that over into the Win64 folder (This is the location you opened up earlier in file explorer from step 2) where the [backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]OblivionRemastered-Win64Shipping.Exe [backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]is. This is where all of your future reshaders for this game will go.
[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]6. Once you unzip the mod to that location, you will get a ReShade UI box right as you launch the game. It will take time to compile.
[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]7. Once it's complied, [backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]click the home button on your keyboard. [backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]You can go through the tutorial or skip it. (honestly, I always skip it but the tutorial is helpful if you've never used ReShade before.)
[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]8. There is a bar right next to the two arrows that says "ReShadePreset" if you click that it will give you a drop-down folder. (Image 2)
[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.05)]9. Highlight ayleid.ini and click select. It will activate the reshade. Click home again to exit out of the UI. (Image 3)
