Adjust the size of the player’s map icon and custom map markers in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Simple, lightweight, and fully customizable via hotkeys or the .cfg file. By default icons are reduced to 80%.

Currently, I am facing issues making the static map pins scaling fully adjustable. For now, an optional file is provided that reduces these icons to 80% by default as a fixed value.

I felt the player icon on the map in Hollow Knight: Silksong was a bit too large, so I made this mod — my very first one!

With it, you can easily adjust the size of both the player’s map icon and custom map markers.

By default, all icons are reduced to 80%, but you can change their size through hotkeys or the `.cfg` file.

- Press `.` to make icons bigger

All hotkeys and scaling values can be customized in the `.cfg` file. If you’re using BepInEx Configuration Manager, you can also tweak everything directly in-game through a simple menu.

This mod is partially compatible with Always Have Compass Effect (BepInEx):

- Hollow Knight: Silksong has three types of maps:

Icon scaling works on the first two maps (overlay and expanded overlay).

On the full menu map, the player icon will not be visible if the compass is disabled (because of how Always Have Compass Effect handles it).

So the mod is fully functional, but if you also use Always Have Compass Effect, remember that the player icon won’t appear on the full menu map unless the compass is equipped.

Optional DLL with the main mod plus a fixed 80% reduction of map pins (benches, shops...). Their size can’t be changed for now — request other sizes in the comments. Do not install together with the Main File. Fixes the small stutter issue while running.
