This mod restores a "conjure Shifting Earth" menu, which is not yet accessible in the game, to the "Pass time" bed in the Waiting Room in Roundtable Hold. This allows the bed to be used to settle or conjure any Shifting Earth. This functionality is based on a cut shop which FromSoftware is likely to add in a future game patch.

There is an additional menu option to select a random Shifting Earth, labeled "Conjure a shift in the earth". As a reminder, you can warp directly to the Waiting Room using the map menu in Roundtable Hold.

Please note:  请注意：

- I would advise against conjuring Shifting Earths you haven't naturally unlocked yet, in case it results in progression issues, but it seems to work.

- This mod may no longer be supported when this functionality is officially added, where it will likely require Sovereign Sigils (currency gained when completing runs).

- The menu's title appears as ?NpcName?. This can by fixed by setting the name field in a different file, but having to merge with other mods and update over time seems not worth it.

Installation  安装

me3 (Mod Engine 3) with an alternate saves mod is recommended. A default me3 profile file is included with the mod, but you can also add the mod to an existing profile if the file script\talk\m10_00_00_00.esdbnd.dcx does not conflict with any other mods. UXM can be used instead, but UXM patch is not officially supported by the UXM developer and requires 16 GB of additional disk space to use.

Installing  安装

First install me3 (version v0.5.0 or later) with me3_installer.exe. This should make it so whenever you doubleclick an me3 profile, it will launch the game with the profile. To use the mod by itself, doubleclick nightreign-earthshifter.me3. To launch from command line or combine Earth Shifter with other mods, check me3 documentation.

Alternatively, to install the mod with UXM, you must both Unpack all files and click Patch. Take the EarthShifter\script\talk\m10_00_00_00.esdbnd.dcx file from the mod directory and place it in the game's Game\script\talk\ directory, overwriting the current file. You can backup the vanilla version for uninstalling later (see screenshot).

It's also recommended to install Seamless Coop or Alt Saves, which can be added in the natives list in your me3 profile. If not, make sure to back up your save file first, as you risk a ban by returning to online gameplay after using this or any mod.

If you installed the mod correctly, a "Pass time" prompt will always appear when you approach the bed. Check me3 logs (usually in C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\garyttierney\me3\data\logs) for details otherwise. A log with the correct timestamp should exist, otherwise me3 was not used to launch the game. The log should list a file override for m10_00_00_00.esdbnd.dcx, otherwise the me3 profile contains a misconfigured file path.

Uninstalling  卸载

To uninstall with me3, simply don't use the me3 profile included with the mod, or remove it from other profiles.

To uninstall with UXM, overwrite the modded m10_00_00_00.esdbnd.dcx file with the original. An original is included with the mod itself, named m10_00_00_00.esdbnd.dcx.bak. If you don't see any files named that, make sure to enable file extensions in Windows Explorer. To fully uninstall UXM, open it again and click the "Restore" button.
