Complete step-by-step guide to installing MFGX4 in Resident Evil Requiem. Follow these steps in the order indicated.

1 Preparation and downloads

2 Locate the game folder

5 Adjust and rename DLLs

6 Copy final mod files
6 复制最终模组文件- Copy the remaining mod files (the last two files from the package) into the game root.
把剩下的模组文件(包里的最后两个文件)复制到游戏根目录。 - If you plan to use DLSS 4.5 or FSR 4,Manually download these files from the provided links and place them in the game folder as instructed.

Important note: Inside the root directory of your game there is a file called "config.ini". Open this file; it will contain a line of code called "FrameGeneration=DLSS 4x" or simply "FrameGeneration=". Remove this line of code if your game gives errors, then save and put the "config.ini" file in read-only mode. Now there will be no errors when starting up, and you will also no longer need to manually activate x3 or x4 every time.

7 First launch and shader rebuild
7 首次发布与着色器重建- Start the game normally. The game will likely rebuild shader.cache on first run after these changes. Wait until the process finishes.

8 Activate the mod and select the upscaler
8 激活该模组并选择升频器- Open the in‑game mod menu.

9 Mod menu navigation and hotkeys
