Do you know Illidan from World of Warcraft or Warcraft 3? He is a kind of demon who was a Night Elf before and fights with the famous Warglaives which he took from Azzinoth after he defeated him. I created the Warglaives for Oblivion from scratch some months ago and saw a lot pictures of Illidan and his weapons. This was the most mesmerizing picture, the statue of Illidan on the BlizzCon:

He really fascinated me and so the idea was born to create a demon race inspired by Illidan.


Background story

After Illidan lost to Arthas he returned to the Black Temple. In this asylum he practiced his magic to become even more powerful. Someday one of his magical experiments got out of hand which ripped a hole in the space-time continuum. This hole was a gate to Oblivion. Illidan didn't hesitate and explored the planes of Oblivion. There he met a wonderful Dremora woman and fell in love with her. Illidan's sorcerous auro made the impossible possible: the Dremora woman got pregnant. But Illidan didn't want to accept that responsibility and so he got back to the Black Temple. One year later she delivered a boy. This boy was the beginning of new area of demons, the area of the Abyss Demons. The opening Oblivion gates in Tamriel paved the way for the Abyss Demons ruling over Tamriel besides the hordes of Daedra.

Are you the one who will destroy Tamriel or fight against your sinister nature to become the good one, the Hero of Kvatch?
