- unzip the attached zip file into that folder

Pressing 'F8' will instantly create a savegame with the name "quicksave".
An autosave is created every four month per default(named e.g. "autosave_2010_feb").
You can change the interval by changing the variable of "$AutoSaveInterval" in your settings.script. (which can be found in '/Cities In Motion')
Setting it to zero disables autosave.

The variable "MaxKeepAutoSaves" allows you to specify how many autosaves will be kept before being deleted. Set the value to zero and no autosave will be deleted. Pleas note however that existing autosaves will be overwritten if you for example start a second game and reach the same time as in your first game.

Note #2: Settings $AutoSaveInterval & $MaxKeepAutoSaves will only appear in your 'settings.script' after you started the game once with the mod installed.

Note #3: If things don't work - 'log_metro.txt' is your friend
