昨天,bf3进行了第三次更新,个头不小,3.9G,也难怪,因为包含了重返卡肯德资料片。只不过为照顾主机版玩家,“重返卡肯德”PC版要到13日才能激活。不过,还是不解为什么是PS3版独占一周,而不是Xbox 360版。
上午大概地翻贴浏览,还没看到对这次更新的详细说明,就在google机翻的帮助下,并参考了bf3吧的帖子http://tieba.baidu.com/f?kz=1312111837,自告奋勇来贴一下bf3官方对此次更新的说明(这个说明是在上周末发布的),大家将就着看吧。
We will release an update to the PC versionof BF3 on Dec 6th -- that is, Tuesday morning around 8AM GMT next week. Thiscoincides with an upgrade of many of our central systems which will be down forsome hours starting around that time. It will be both a client update --approximately 2GB in size -- and a server update. 这是上周发布的更新预告:我们将于12月6日上午8点(格林威治时间,注:也就是北京时间下午4点)发布BF3 PC版的更新。这将同时包含客户端和服务器的更新 - 大小约2GB(注:实际大小3.9G)。
The client/server combination will beincompatible with older clients/servers. All players will be prompted todownload the update once it has been released. All RSP companies will beginupgrading their servers at the same time. 更新后的客户端/服务器,将不兼容老版本的客户端/服务器。所以一旦更新补丁放出,所有玩家都会收到更新提示,建议及时更新。所有的RSP公司(thoughtcn童鞋指正:RSP公司是指 Ranked Server Provider companies,也就是排名服务器提供商,比如大名鼎鼎的i3D等)将在同一时间开始升级他们的服务器。
The client update is large because itcontains most of the content for Back to Karkand. This is not ideal, so we aimto make potential DLC content in the future as optional downloads. 客户端更新较大,是因为它包含了“重返卡坎德(Back to Karkand)”的大部分内容(注:PC版的“重返卡坎德(Back to Karkand)”要到13日才能激活,可能DLC的部分内容那时候还要下载更新)。这不太理想,所以我们将来计划使潜在的DLC内容成为可选下载。

Min player requirements 【所需最少玩家人数】 Also, it will once again be possible toreduce the number of players required to start a round to 1 both in ranked andunranked mode.
