Will IW4M allow pirated game copies?

No, IW4M will check with the Steam client for the game being legitimately purchased.

When will it be out?

When it's ready to come out.

What will it support?

Everything that was in aIW's IW4M2 (such as mod support, dedicated servers, custom textures).

However, since Activision will not allow us emulating their service, IW4M will only support dedicated servers, and not matchmaking.

Is the source code public?

Client-side source is public, including the code for dedicated servers. The master-server source will not be available.

Can I transfer my stats/rank hack?

As was with aIW's IW4M2, levelling up prematurely is not allowed.

Can I play if I'm VAC banned on Steam?

As we cannot verify whic工口GAME you were banned from, this status is irrelevant.

Do I have to have the DLC on Steam to play the DLC maps on IW4M?

As we cannot verify that you do or do not have the DLC on Steam, you will not be incurred any limitations on the client.

It says I haven't bought the game, but I have, what do I do?

Set your Steam profile status to public in Profile Settings

How do I change my FOV ?

Press ~ or ^ to open the console, then type in /cg_fov 80

How to record a demo:

1. /record to start demo and /stoprecord to stop it

2. /devmap mp_afghan

3. /killserver

4. /demo demo_file_name

If the Demo won't run:

/devmap mp_mapname

/record demofix_mapname

wait 1-5 mins

/stoprecord

Some demo's have a bug where they won't play so to fix this you do:

E.G on rust

/demo demofix_rust

(wait until it loads)

/demo yourdemo
