With this mod, you can create a companion with any race, any face, any class, any birthsign...
You can:

-set everything (name,race, sex, face, hair, class, birthsign) using the standard character generation menus.
-order them to follow you, wait where they are, or meet you at the Tiber Septim Hotel (I am going to improve that)
-share items (the share system is based on Talkie Toaster's from the Toaster Says Share mod)
-order your companion to cast spells (silence, paralyze, open, light, heal player) on a target (from version 0.92)
-you can select the target for your companion
-order your companion to attack the selected person


Install: Unzip into the Oblivion\Data folder and check it in the Data Files menu.

How to use the plugin:

When you start a new game, pick up and equip the ring on the table in your prison cell. Then create your companion. You have to play with his face and race through the character generation, then reconfigure your character at the sewer exit. Your companion is going to wait for you outside. You can use companion order and share spells on him/her.

If you do not want to start a new game:

You can find a similar ring in a barrel. It is in front of the Warlock's Luck, Bravil. You have to reconfigure your face to do this, but ElderFaceLift may help.

If you already have a "unique companion", and want to use the new features, then search this barrel (it is 100% NPC-proof ) for a scroll, use it and you have the new spells to command your companion and select a target..

NOTES:
-You no longer have to cast the restoration spell.
-Cast spells on your companion to give him/her orders to cast.
-Sometimes you have to give him/her an order (stay here/follow me) to have him/her cast a spell.
-If you want your companion to open a door or a container, cast the select target spell on the door/container, and then give the 'open this' order from the cast spell menu.
-Dealing with references is often dangerous, save more often and be ready for some bugs (I haven't seen any crashes or weird things while testing, but the player can do almost everything)
-Watch out for pickpockets. Or do not store Nirnroots or other expensive ingredients in your companion's inventory.
