[讨论] CA官网论坛上老外玩家对于PATCH3的点评,貌似提出的不少问题,就是全英文几乎看不懂,有没有野生翻译帝来战一下~

PATCH 3.0 (Beta) JUDGEMENT



Hello All

Let me start by saying that CA has made a lot of work for this game, and a lot of work to patch it, that is +10 points in my books. Altho there is bugs remaining, and we can hope all of them will be fixed.

I provide a 1h 22min Youtube video about the Combat AI performance in City Enviroment. Enjoy.

The bugs that have been fixed in City Enviroment as follows(what i recognized) :

1. City Movement by AI ( no freezing inside citys AI staging areas )

The bugs that have been left hanging and need to be fixed :

1. Gatehouse capturing failing due to player having a unit on top of wall : AI is unable to reach the wall ( ai leaves 2 units to per tower and those 2 units freeze )

2. Tower capturing failing due to broken towers not having capture flags , also some towers that do not have flags are bugging the AI also. ( ai leaves 2 units to per tower and those 2 units freeze )

3. RAM siege engines are not used by AI

4. Ladder siege engines are used by AI but the troops dropped to the wall are frozen

5. Siege Towers, siege engines are used by AI but the troops dropped to the wall are frozen

6. AI staging point is too close to the wall towers (when AI breaks the gate) resulting in unit losses to AI for no reason.

7. AI staging inside the city is too close in some cases when it moves units in staging areas to towers , AI moves 10 units to tower as reserves, but a 2nd tower is shooting them to death. AI looses units for no gain.

8. AI uses catapults, BUT 1 AI army will only use one hole in the wall to enter the city, resulting in player defending that one hole and AI dies 95% for almost free. No idea in this, AI should flank from other side of city by splitting its army and or use multiple holes to enter a city.

9. HUGE City maps have too powerfull towers, gamebreaking.

10. Trees / small houses / wells and other small stuff outside the city , block siege engines and sometimes result siege engine to be bugged and stuck to these obstacles. (siege engines should roll over these obstacles)

11. Pathing thru the ladders and siege towers are not there, ladders and siege towers need to work forward and backward to be recogniced as a path. needs a fix.

12. AI still tries to walk to capture points, leading to player killing a full stack from AI and loosing very little troops.

13. HUGE City capture points are not in the same place as small city capture points, leads to AI unable to capture all capture points in huge city maps, broken, needs a fix.

14. AI does not flank in city enviroments, it does not try to do it even with 1-3 units to gain a flank, needs a fix. also needs to be timed to hit the rear same time with frontal attack.

15. AI using ladders and or siege towers leads to AI freezing up when all siege towers and ladders are deployed to walls.

16. Gatehouses when gate breaks down, the "explosion" kills units topside on the wall, over the gate. broken should not be like that.

17. AI is too focused in taking capture points, it needs to tactically move better to flank the player and with timed attacks attack from every side. needs to be looked at.

18. When penetrating the wall, AI does not attack from multiple gates or holes in a wall, resulting in AI dying to massive one path defence by the player. gamebreaking, needs a fix.

19. view range of the passive towers needs to be limited only to the range it has to fire. player sees too easily with no units on walls, where the AI is moving => resulting in player defending perfectly vs AI breaking the wall from 1 spot or AI coming thru one gate. IF the ai would move from multiple directions player would need to split troops to defend and it would lead to good fights.

20. Routing enemies still capture capturable points.

(( 21: If the AI has reinforcements arriving in a siege battle where they are the attackers the reinforcements won't move away from the point they arrived unless attacked. )) (21-reported from other user).
