两则外国网友对比“记录的地平线”和“刀剑神域”

Actually I don't really think you should compare Log Horizon to SAO since their similarity basically ends with the setting.  As you put it, Thousands of gamers suddenly trapped in a game world that becomes their new "reality".


实际上,我不认为只因为(世界观)设定上的相似,就可以把记录的地平线(Log Horizon,后简称 LH)和刀剑神域 (Sword art online,后简称 SAO)二者放到一起进行比对。如君所述,(世界观)确实是数千玩家被困在游戏世界中,就此生活在游戏里的“现实”中。


Log Horizon tends to focus more on the "game aspect" of things.  For those who have played MMORPGs it will be remenicent of how parties or guilds tend to work where every player has a role to play and if you mess up your entire party suffers the consequences.  It's nice and interesting that way because it looks more at the interaction and growth from a community stand point



LH,意在着重描述“游戏”方面的事情。对于那些喜欢 MMORPG 的玩家,此作品会唤起他们对当年“工会如何活动”,“玩家如何各司其职”,“如何一人出错,请速度灭加 buff 再开”… 的记忆。 所以,阅读此作的乐趣(还有点小温馨哈~)也就在于关注整个“团队”(乃至整个游戏玩家群)之间的互动,和他们的成长。


SAO on the other hand is a "modern day fairy tale" it's one of those Prince sets off on an epic quest to save the princess and they fall in love kinda thing.  Actually I think Kirito put it best at the end of the ALO arc when he said


SAO,则是,“现代版童话故事”,无出其右的王子殿下,跨越千难万险,解救一位位的公主,然后他们从此就幸福的在一起了,在一起了,在一起了… 在桐人同学在“ALO”部尾声中,也如是说。


The story of SAO never focused really on the game or on the communities in it but rather on Kirito x Asuna and their love story and adventure to escape the game world.  I guess you can say SAO has more in common with a series like Gundam Seed/Guilty Crown than with Log Horizon


所以SAO的故事,绝非对其玩家部众,甚至游戏本身做浓墨重彩的描述和演绎。而是,更多侧重于“桐人和阿斯纳的情比金坚,携手逃离(万恶的)游戏世界”。就此,我认为,与其说 SAO 和 LH 相像,倒不如说,它跟 机动战士钢弹之特种计划… 以及罪过皇冠更为神似。


If you want to add to the genre of getting trapped in a computer game then you also have to consider series like .Hack// which tends to vere a bit more towards the psychological side.  So yeah I don't really know if you can compare the 3 series.


如果你以“被困游戏当中”作为一类将(动画进行)分类,那就必然考虑 .hack 系列,而那作品则侧重于的是“心理学”(哲学)方面的思度。我很难想象如何将这三部作品混为一谈。

You see NFS and GT are as you say both racing games and they both focus on Racing with minor tweeks here and there like GT being mostly Circuit and NFS being more street but bottom line they are both racing games and as such being racing simulators is their core.  Stated otherwise, NFS and GT may appear to be different on the surface but in it's core the two are actually the same.

SAO, .Hack and LH aren't like that.  On the surface they all seem similar with the same "setting" but their cores are very different.

The blood knights were pretty disappointing. Despite being the strongest guild, they got zero development beyond the loud mouthed scruffy fellow who was murdered before kirito's marriage.


血誓骑士团就是个战5渣。诚然它是最强的工会,但是,除了那位丧心病狂,眼高手低,为桐人做了嫁衣裳的小哥(就是那个试图干桐人结果被反歼的),其工会自身在剧中就再也没有别的啥描述了。

Speaking of the blood knights and now the army, there was no development of the political systems the players of sword art online made. What should have been a focus in sao was not just a distinction of how pvp(player based combat) was looked upon,but rather the rest of the Aincrad's social structure. How were resources divied up? What happens when two groups want to fight the same monsters or they have a dispute over territory and rights to raiding a cavern? The answer is we don't know how something so basic was handled because there was nothing about sword art online's other players.


它是工会,也是一支军队,但(无论小说还是动画)通篇都没有任何关于“政(T.T)治系统”构筑(的描述)。应当作为重点 Aincrad 世界(方方面面)的构架,却被pvp的武斗描述所取代。类似于如何分配资源(和战利品),如何解决抢 boss 和副本(或地盘)的现象,这些都是最基础最常见的问题,也是不得不解决的问题,但是在剧中却被系统性的无视了。



I mean when you have the army, which consisted of the lower leveled and more average players whose goal was to end the game, you might want to introduce this element. When they are conscripting kids forcefully and marching thier own men to death right before fighting a boss; maybe it would have been good to see this developed? This is just one faction in all of aincrad and one which was pretty interesting too. Considering what it is, maybe they were fodder for the front lines who took the brunt of the traps.Why do you think asuna lived so long? After getting up there in ranking, she probably was the last to go into battle so their grunts from the army could test the boss rooms for traps and overall attack patterns. Yet this was never mentioned because the only people who mattered was kirito and asuna. The saddest thing about sword art online was anyone who couldn't fight the front lines was considered worthless as characters. It showed when their only purpose was to highlight how powerful kirito was even to the most elite players.


我认为,当拥有一支军队的时候,军队的组成年人员主要是一般装备等级玩家,(而大家之所以)能聚集到一起是为了结束游戏,就必须着手解决上述的问题。而剧中提到的,无论是强制征召幼童上战场,还是疲劳行军后无休整开boss,(作者应就类似的问题)进行展开并予以修正?我觉得解决这些问题也是游戏的一部分,并且也会是蛮有意思的一部分。当然,那些牺牲掉的士兵也可能只是那些用来收集情报的肉侦。你觉得为什么阿斯纳可以活那么久(她可不像桐人那样外挂满身)?(最可能的是)自她上位以后,她是作为最后一批参战的人员,那是她手下那些 大G们 (暴露年龄的梗啊)早就已死写出完整的攻略了。而这些(牺牲)却从来没有提及,因为主角只是桐人和阿斯纳。那些无名的(英雄)在 SAO 作者的笔下是作为无意义的存在来处理的,不可悲么? 而他们唯一的存在意义,只是为了当开挂党的陪衬物而已。

As for log horizon, they have so far taken a fairly neat approach by making the entire story a mystery. Rather than plopping a giant 50 story reaper in front of the audience and giving everyone the chills, spoonfeeding them the point of the story; log doesn't give us anything. It's protagonist shiroe wakes up in a post apocalyptic akihabra, with no idea of why he's in every tale online. Slowly as the first 10 episodes are unveiled, we get a little more about the world. Hell even food is a mystery which starts off as nothing but tasteless mush. Yet the natural ingredients from the landscape which includes but is not limited to citrus, spices, and sugar have taste. When the secret of getting real food is revealed, it actually becomes a weapon at shiro's disposal.


反观,LH,在保持故事的神秘性上着实下了一番功夫。不像一般的剧一样,先拿50个伟光正的故事胡你熊脸,然后在以作者的想法对你一阵填鸭 play,LH 不显山不漏水(或者说,神秘)。当腹黑眼睛在劫后的秋叶原出现的时候,他也是一头雾水。缓慢的,故事花了10话来揭开故事和世界的设定。 = = ! 麻蛋! 食物的烹饪都是那么神秘,否则做出来的就是一锅渣渣。而发现好料理绝非只依靠(优质的)原料,香料和调料,就成了我们主人公的一强力武器。

以下是我本人的吐槽,分位几个问题


1,英语;

在我看LH的时候,发现有人对日式英语发音的“me lord”进行吐槽,并且吐槽“me lord”如何不符合语法,“正确的”应该是“my lord”… 就此说一下我的观点:

首先,日本人的英语水平比中国人高很多(高端:日本人在science上发表文章的水平就可见一斑,国民级:外国纪录片中去采访一群跳广场舞的大妈,无需翻译,被采访者也全英语对答);

第二,英语是博大精深的,其博大精深的程度绝非以国内公立学校英语课上介绍的法则就可以解释的

第三,“milord”是原型,法语,game of thrones 就用过,还是一专门的段子… 所以请诸君… “多闻阙疑,慎言其余,则寡尤。多见阙殆,慎行其余,则寡悔。”


2,动画与现实;

我在看银之匙的时候很感触的,觉得日本的教育如何如何的棒,如何如何的脚踏实地丰富多彩,还信誓旦旦的说自己有了孩子以后一定要让他(她)多接受这样基于实践的教育…

直到我看到了一段日本阉割小牛的视频… = = ! 麻蛋!

所以,我很同意外国网友的意见

很多事情,当我们亲自去做的时候,才会发现按部就班是多么的困难

= = ! 我很难想象中国网络游戏玩家能手把手做出来蒸汽机… 或者从零做起作出可以大批量贩卖的汉堡…


当然,国人也自有强悍的地方,如果LH的事情真的发生在中国…
我们可能更擅长如何更加高效和稳妥的盘剥(或称“圈养”)低端玩家…

更不用说建立一套新的体系制度,说服别人达成共识,最后以文字的形式将其公布

但这是因为没有相关方面的知识,还是没有缺乏这个意愿呢?(也许这才是真的“有文化差异”)


至于SAO,基本上就是中国修仙小说的套路吧… 不过人物刻画算的上上乘… 不过也仅此而已了
