Please post your issues here [UPDATED]
EDIT: Some additional "things to try" when posting feedback:
If you are experiencing issues, right-click Dead Rising 3 in your game library. Select “properties”, select the “LOCAL FILES” tab, and click “VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE” to ensure that there aren’t any missing or corrupt local version of your files.
If you are running the game with a user.ini that disables the 30fps cap, please delete your user.ini file and see if it changes the game's behavior.
======================================================
Hello Community,
While we hope the vast majority of fans will have a great time with Dead Rising 3, there will always be a case where the game may not function correctly under certain software environment and/or hardware combination.
To keep the community forum discussion and reporting in an orderly fashion, please share any technical issues you may experience with the game right here. We’ll use this thread as a central repository for tracking issues, and then pass on the information to the development team so they can take a look at it.
IMPORTANT: Please share the following information when posting in this thread.
A) Your System Specs
1) CPU name and model
2) Graphics card/chip model
3) Video driver version number
4) System memory size
5) OS version (Windows 7, 8, 64-bit/32-bit, etc.)
6) OS language
7) Anti-Virus software name and version (please be specific)
8) Motherboard/chipset, if known (or if a laptop, make/model)
B) Specific issue
Please share your specific issue and the area where you’re experiencing this behavior. If it's a reproducible crash or a hang, it would be super useful if you can share your dxdiag log file crash dump, etc. via download link.
C) Detailed reproduction steps, if consistently reproducible
This step in particular is super helpful for the development team. The more detailed info you can provide, the quicker the team can reproduce the error state and (hopefully) fix the issue.
RULES:
Any rant or “discussion” that derails the thread will be deleted as it becomes extremely difficult for us to track and compile issues.
Again, it goes back to the earlier point -- making it easy for us to track issues so we can share information with the development team quickly and as complete as possible.
Thank you, and hope you don’t have to post here
