Bioware Creative Director Mac Walters discusses the eagerly anticipated next title in the "Mass Effect" franchise, the tie-in comics and more.


Some notes:

The host wasn't too good, talking about random stuff and the old games. Didn't try to get something new out there.

More grey choices in Andromeda. 'You don't always know what the right answer is.
新一代里,有所谓的灰色对话选项,你不会知道那个是准确答案!

New comics will be published by Dark Horse (renewed partnership).

Comics will focus on characters from the game and tell their background about why they went to Andromeda.
漫画会注重在游戏中的角色背景,还有为什么他们要去仙女座。

The comic still has a working title (he didn't mention it), the actual title will be released soon.

Andromeda is a fresh start. All the core elements are there, but we don't want to hold ourselves back. Big focus on pushing and trying new things, not just 'another' Mass Effect game.
仙女座是个新的开始,旧的元素还在。但我们会注重尝试加入新东西、新元素,不只是要做“另一个质量效应”。

Mako 'is so much more fun than it ever was'.
Mako车子会更有趣。

You can have relationships with other people than your squadmates.
你可以和队友之外的人士发展关系。

Exploration will be big in Andromeda. This is not a game 'with' exploration, but 'about' exploration. Finding a new home for humanity and the species that come along.
仙女座就是“探索”,就是为人类,一起来的其他种族寻找一个新家园。等于100%的探索。

Combat is better than it has ever been before.Levels are designed entirely differently because of jumping added.
战斗比前代更佳,这次加入了“跳跃”元素。

More resources invested in squadmates than ever before, the one with the smallest part is still 'bigger' in depth than the biggest from the original trilogy.
队友剧情会比前代更多。新一代里,最少剧情的那个队友,剧情内容也比前代最多的多,据说至少多出个20%。

'A lot' coming out on N7 Day about setting, premise of the game, there will be teasers. There will be 'a few' thing leading up to it (N7 Day) as well.
其他资料等N7再公布,但在那之前也可能有些零星少许爆料。

话说回来,前代那个队友的戏份最多呢?

看来下一代剧情会很巨大,这当然是我们所期望的。
期望主剧情要巨巨巨大,期望剧情越长越好!!

大家有没有玩Diablo 3(大菠萝3)?
不知大家有没有同感,玩大菠萝3打了一半就开始有点“闷”,或无聊的感觉。
因为这些你在Diablo 2里,通通都玩过了,暴雪他们只是改了个画面加个新故事而已,所以我们打几下就开始无聊了。

那么仙女座,不只是“下一代的质量效应”。在旧元素的基础下,也要加入新元素、新东西。
这是bioware他们的想法。

能“上”的很多,不只是“多”,而是“太多”。

这次可能会有人不断的“读档”再“存档”,再“读档”。。。
