Bandits say:
Your money or your life.
I'd slit your throat for a trinket.
We'll have our pay, or we'll have our fun.
Stand and deliver.
My men would like a word with you about your personal belongings.
We can do this the easy way, or the hard way.
Looters say:
You better not be a manhunter.
What's this then, eh?
Out for a stroll, are we?
I'm gonna break your legs, nice and slow.
I'll tear you limb from limb.
Sea raiders say:
I will drink from your skull!
Today the gods will decide your fate!
That's a nice head you have on your shoulders!
Less talking, more raiding!
Steppe bandits say:
Dead men tell no tales.
We were born in the saddle, but you will die in one. (I don't remember ever hearing this line in-game, but it's in the files)
We'll hunt you down.
We're gonna ride you down.
Your money or your life.
Farmers say:
It's almost harvesting season. (they say this even in the middle of winter, no wonder the famine is always rampant in Calradia)
Huh?
My lord? (same line spoken two different ways)
Then there are of course the old, no longer used Vaegir greetings that have for some reason been left in the files (poor Swadians have always been mute):
Blood, honor, and glory awaits us!
Hail to you, brother of war!
My sword is my life and honor.
We ride to war.
By the sword and by the spear. (IMO more appropriate to a travelling weapons peddler )
Long live the king.
And of course everyone's favorite, the nobleman from the old "capture nobleman" quest:
Away with you, vile beggar! |
