裝滿污水的鍋子可拿到營火上煮沸變乾淨水。若有水壺,可以裝上煮沸的乾淨水,方便下次飲用。

只有肉類在遊戲中才會變質。 除了牡蠣和小肉(鳥肉)以外,所有的肉都可以曬乾,風乾時間需要8分40秒。
而直接燒熟肉塊同樣會損失大量水份值,所以可選用鍋子以煮熟來吃用。
用鍋子燉熟食物,會完全改變了消耗品的價值。
