Found this solution to controller not working and worked for me
This is how you get a controller working
Launch the game, toggle the steam overlay, select controller icon to open the controller settings, make sure steam input is enabled, then click the "template", then under the tab "template" select "Gamepad".
Exit the game. Then in the game folder there's some files, "steam_input_for_ps4, steam_input_for_ps5, etc".
There's 7 total. Copy them all and paste to your steam install location at this folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\controller_base\templates"
Then under "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam", create a new folder called "controller_config".
Put the "steam_input_manifest.vdf" file from before in here. Rename the file to "game_actions_480.vdf".
Relaunch steam, and launch the game.
Then toggle the steam overlay, click the controller icon, click on "templates", and under the "templates" tab, scroll to the bottom, it'll say "ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN Official Settings".
Select that and it'll work |
