In the vanilla game, boss loot events have two outcomes:

With how grindy meta progression is, losing one of your cats sucks (That cat was 7% of an inventory upgrade! Not to mention the breeding potential). Maybe they had a cool mutation! Well, get rekt, it's gone now.

This is especially true when it's due to pure random chance. The game overall has a ton of crazy RNG, but it's largely very forgiving when you get a bad roll. Cat got downed? That's fine, just a minor stat penalty. Critically failed an event? Probably a Disorder at worst. So why are we getting demolished for daring to... try to claim the loot we earned?

To me, the logical conclusion is to Ignore every boss loot opportunity. This is extremely unfun, and makes fighting these cool end bosses unrewarding. Basically, I hate this system. So I modded it. Thanks to the devs for making it easy to do so.

Installation 安装
Simply use with Mewtator. If you're new to Mewtator:

Compatibility 兼容性
This mod uses a gon.patch to try to be as compatible as possible. Hopefully I set things up correctly. As far as I understand, nothing should be affected except the bad outcomes of the boss corpse plundering events, which this mod overwrites. I set these to null, meaning they will be entirely excluded, and the game will always pick the good result since no bad result exists. This should be compatible with anything that doesn't specifically modify those bad outcome nodes.
