Patch 1.8 for DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH is out now on PC!

This update fixes issues related to VSync behavior when enabling or disabling frame generation and improves distant terrain texture quality when using higher texture settings.

It also adds support for displaying PlayStation friends and PlayStation user avatars when signed in to your PlayStation account, along with additional bug fixes and stability improvements. Thanks to everyone for sharing feedback and helping us further improve the game.

• Addressed an issue where VSync could remain enabled when turning on DLSS Frame Generation.
• Improved distant terrain texture quality when using high or very high texture settings.
• Added support for displaying PlayStation friends and PlayStation user avatars when signed in to your PlayStation account.
• Updated Intel XeSS Frame Generation to the latest version, including bug fixes and support for Multi Frame Generation and XeLL on supported Intel GPUs.
• Fixed a rare progression bug that could prevent the next Main Order from advancing after saving and loading in Magellan’s private room.
• Resolved an issue where players could sometimes be unable to place or remove map markers when playing below 30 FPS.
